I have also experienced it and I would like to mention the things I did to let me get rid of this.

1. Intake ample amount of water before and after every meal.
2. Eat 5 to 6 times a day with minimum food ratio. This would be difficult to adjust when we say minimum but once it is practiced, we will get rid of the heavy eating.

I am following this schedule and I do not eat much or feel hungry to try a dessert.Abhilash Pillaihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05100851004931790427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2598433959602359104.post-73209213125694082882010-10-21T23:08:21.164-07:002010-10-21T23:08:21.164-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.SGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05790347071764332430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2598433959602359104.post-13194113777815960762010-10-21T22:07:19.343-07:002010-10-21T22:07:19.343-07:00Forget the science.Boredom and depression leads to...Forget the science.Boredom and depression leads to over eating.Sweets are tempting.Like all other temptations,we have to fight it.But then, life is once.I remember someone having said
" Life is short, eat dessert first"
Once in a while, you can have some breaking rules.Otherwise life will be monotonous.
Have sweeter days ahead!
p.s. In my younger days we never knew or even bothered to know what was dieting, and we never used to put on weight despite eating anything and everything to our heart's content.
But in the last 30 years or so, with the advent of so many gadgets to help in our everyday activities, we have become very lethargic, with jobs also just requiring us to sit for hours in front of the computer has added to our woes.
We become bored and stressed easily, and given to eating as a diversion.
Sometimes it is our own strict views about dieting , that makes us lose control and we given to indulgences and temptation.
Every thing is okay as long as we are able to get back to our routine of keeping ourselves mentally and physically active. For what is life if we cannot indulge once in a while.
Now with the growing tendency of young people getting hear attacks and strokes, it is very important we took care of ourselves.
We owe it to ourselves.Rama Ananthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00962222316822524699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2598433959602359104.post-81717406037311041522010-10-21T19:06:57.395-07:002010-10-21T19:06:57.395-07:00Yes even i heard this that people eat a lot when t...Yes even i heard this that people eat a lot when they are sad or frustrated.rajihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18095103429113436115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2598433959602359104.post-32326237384137618202010-10-21T17:32:40.267-07:002010-10-21T17:32:40.267-07:00I eat more when I am frustrated or depressed.
